December Daily - Day One

I'm participating in the Ali Edward's December Daily project.  It's all about documenting the month of December.  As I've done in previous years, I'm going to stop on Christmas day.  Here is my layout for yesterday, December 1st.

Christmas Banner

This past weekend I created a banner to help add a touch of color to my holiday decor.

I used white card stock, "Countdown to Christmas" holiday paper by My Mind's Eye, twine (I used hemp), and mini clothespins. All items used, were purchased at my local Michael's craft store.

With the remaining scraps of paper, I cut several 2x2 squares and adhered them to an 11x12 piece of white card stock. I left a few squares empty and stamped them using Close To My Heart stamps and inks. The frame I used, is one I already owned and have used for similar seasonal artwork.
